One Direction's Extended 'This Is Us': Five Things We Want to See!

This is one Friday the 13th Directioners aren't frightened about. Not only does Niall Horan turn 20, but the extended fan cut of One Direction's 3-D documentary, "This Is Us", hits theaters.
Considering that Harry Styles said he spent the last eight days working on the new version, it is bound to give fans even more insight into what happens behind the scenes. Director Morgan Spur lock was given unprecedented access to the superstars, and shot more than 900 hours of footage over the course of six months, so there's definitely still a lot of story to tell. But what will they show? We've made our own wish list.



More Backstory
We've already been privileged to 41 seconds of the new flick as they head to the "X Factor" studio, so there's still a whopping 19 minutes and 19 seconds of still-unreleased stuff for fans to soak in. And, while Spurlock has said he wanted to keep their romantic lives out of the picture, we'd definitely be down to see the fivesome explore their early days even deeper. And maybe even reunite with some of their old "X Factor" pals like Cher Lloyd or Little Mix.

Considering the guys told us back in August they'd love to see more of Niall's nipples in a sequel and they also recently shared they once went skinny-dipping together. Let's wish upon a star that the cameras were rolling.

More Tears

The group often goofs off in the first flick, even pulling pranks on unsuspecting folks on the street, so in that 20 extra minutes why not throw in a few more light-hearted moments with the fellas?

Midnight Memories On Loop
The guys have already revealed the reason they wanted to include their cover of Wheatus' "Teenage Dirtbag" in the original, but now's their chance to shine a spotlight on some of their new music. Their latest single, "Best Song Ever," gets a play in the first version, and fans are even treated to some footage of the guys recording their November 25 release. But with four additional songs included in the September 13 release, let's keep our fingers crossed that something else from Midnight

Kendrick Lamar disses Meek again

The beef between Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill seems a little more serious than we anticipated. According to reports Kendrick Lamar took shots at Meek Mill while performing at Williamsburg Park in Brooklyn, New York lastnight (10 September). Kendrick was most likely responding to Meek Mill’s diss track “Ooh Kill Em”. At the show Kendrick addressed the diss song by saying, “I have no time for irrelevant n***as [or] new n***as," as well as, “There's one n***a in particular that needs to realize that there's 'levels' to this s**t. I'm mother f**king King Kendrick."

It didn’t take long for Meek to get word of the statement and he promptly replied on Twitter by tweeting, “Let me RT @MeekMill: King of what? @kendricklamar”

The whole thing may just be a stunt to hype up Meek’s forthcoming project ‘Dreamchasers 3’ but if not, it’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top.

Did Nicki steal “Starships”?

Music stars are no strangers to copyright infringement lawsuits. The latest star to be dragged into a copyright suit is Nicki Minaj and her producer RedOne. Little known musician Clive Tanaka claims that Nicki and her producer’s four times platinum single “Starships” infringes on the copyright of Tanaka’s track, “Neu Chicago”. One listen to the “Neu Chicago” and there’s no doubt that the two tracks are eerily similar.

Tanaka and the song's three other writers (Carl Falk, Wayne Hector, and Rami Yacoub) are looking for an undisclosed compensation amount.

P-Square in Ethiopia

P-Square is set to perform in Ethiopia on 21 September. The concert, which is part of their world tour, will take place at the Millennium Hall in Addis Ababa.

The tour kicked off in the US last month and will also cover Europe, Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.

Almost every rapper in the game has taken shots at Kendrick Lamar for his verse on Big Sean’s “Control” but it seems the Compton rapper still isn’t impressed by the responses.

Tyga sued over stolen jewelry.

Considering how much money rappers claim to have you’d think they’d remember to pay for their jewellery but that doesn’t seem to be the case with Tyga. The rapper is being sued by a Beverly Hills jeweller for failing to pay for gold chains and a watch valued at US$185,306.50!

Tyga however is denying the claims and responded to the jeweller via his Instagram by posting a picture of several gold pieces of jewellery with the caption, “Shout out to my Jeweler

There's a certain amount of intrigue that comes with being Jay-Z. Beyond the sheer allure of his current celebrity, Hov has captivated his audience for years with detailed accounts of his drug-dealing past, former demons and braggadocio.


It all officially started on his classic 1996 debut Reasonable Doubt where the lavishly laced MC with no chart-topping singles or platinum plaques, but dark underworld ties boasted: "I'm still spendin' money from '88."

In the years that followed, we'd learn just as much about Jay from his lyrics as his interviews — maybe more. "It's Barbie, bitch!": With those immortal words — along with a pencil sketch of her face — Nicki Minaj made her entree into the world of selfies, food porn and filtered pets known as Instagram.




Frustrated with copycat Instagram accounts, Minaj took to Twitter on Friday (July 5) to announce that she's taking matters into her hands and creating her own photofeed, under the name @allpinkbarbiedreamhouse

"I do NOT have Instagram. OnikaM is NOT me. Guess I have to make a real one to counter attack. I'm sure that's why Instagram won't delete it," Nicki wrote on Twitter. The handle Minaj mentions in the tweet is a private account.

Since joining, Minaj has posted four photos, one featuring the singer in the classic "my babe caught me sleeping pose" (a.k.a. a closed-eye selfie), one that appears to be a reblogged professional shot with Nelly and Pharrell and a few artistic renderings of the singer. Since joining, Minaj has amassed more than 60,000 followers and several thousand comments and likes.

With 31 million fans on Facebook and 16 million Twitter followers, it won't be long before Minaj's Barbz start flooding her feed full force.

Minaj has had a rather embattled relationship with her fans in the past when it comes to social media. She quit Twitter last year for a spell after a fan site leaked some of her tunes.

However, Minaj's fans have already hit up her since-reinstated Twitter in droves to show their unbridled enthusiasm for Minaj's new social stream, with one fan reminding the rapper of an old January tweet of hers reading: "my 1st instagram pic gon be a big fat ass w/baby oil being poured on it. who's ready?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!"

Chris Brown Confirms X Features From Rihanna, Wiz Khalifa And More

Chris Brown is going big for his sixth studio album, X. With the release date quickly approaching, the Fine China singer took to Twitter to reveal some of the features on the album.

Aside from featuring Aaliyah’s vocals on his latest single “Don’t Think They Know" and giving fans a taste of his track “Love More” featuring Nicki Minaj at the 2013 BET Awards, Breezy still had a few more names up his sleeve.

The anticipated album will also feature Kendrick Lamar, Kelly Rowland, Wiz Khalifa, B.O.B, and Rihanna. At a listening session in L.A., Breezy explained why he chose to include Kendrick Lamar on X.

"I think people automatically assumed [that] with me and Kendrick Lamar, if we actually collaborated, it's gonna be a club joint, but for me, I always like to change and switch the envelope," Brown told MTV News previously. "Me and Kendrick on 'Autumn Leaves,' it's more of a sit in your car and ride-to record. It's a real laid-back record, but it's also a substance record. It's basically saying [that] you put in so much to get so little. Whether it be in relationships or just in life, you work hard for something all the time and get so little, but you still hold on, like the last leaf in autumn."

Chris also put “Chrianna” fans at ease by announcing Rihanna’s presence on his LP. Just last month it was floating around that the Unapologetic star will not be featured on the album but it looks like fans will be hearing the “Put It Up” track that Chris was so excited about after all. "I wanted to do an R&B record with Rihanna because I didn't want it to be the same four-on-the-floor, pop," Brown told MTV news of the collab. "At the end of the day, that's what they expect from us, so I wanted to do more of a record that nobody really heard her sing on as far as that genre."

The anticipated album includes production from Polow Da Don, Danja, Timberland, Pharrell, Diplo and Drumma Boy. X is due July 16.

J. Cole Used To Be 'Dissing Jay-Z For No Reason' 'My man Pac said he's wack,' Cole recalls of taking cues as a kid from his idol Tupac.

J. Cole dropped his second album, Born Sinner, via Jay-Z's Roc Nation imprint this week, but during his visit to "RapFix Live," Cole admitted that he wasn't a fan of Hov in his younger years, a topic that he broaches on the album's intro, "Villuminati."

Though the hook on "Villuminati" includes a sample of the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Juicy" and finds Cole spitting "sometimes I brag like Hov," before the track is over we find out that once upon a time his fanaticism for Tupac had him hating on both Jay-Z and Biggie.

"Pac had a n---- saying f--- Jigga, f--- Biggie, I was only like 11 so forgive me/ A decade later I be all up in the city trying to get Hov to f--- with me," he spits on the record.

"I used to get into arguments in school all the time," Cole explained. "There was this other kid and he was a big [Jay and Biggie] fan and we used to go head to head. Of course I liked 'Juicy,' but the Pac fan in me was just ridin' against whoever he was ridin' against."

In Cole's defense, he hadn't given his future boss a fair listen yet. "I'm 11 [at this point] so I'm riding against everybody," he said. "I ain't even know who Jay was, really. I knew just when Makaveli came out and in those interviews Pac was dissing Jay-Z and them, so I'm doing the same thing — like, 'Jay-Z, you wack!' My man Pac said he's wack, so he's wack. 'Cause that's how this thing works, that's how rap works."

Though things have certainly changed since then, the North Carolina rapper thought it'd really help to put the bigger picture in perspective. "I brought that up just to show the irony," he said. "I was a little kid screaming that, and then I was tryna give him my CD. It's funny how things change. It was just interesting to think that I used to be dissing Jay-Z for no reason."

Luckily, Jay saw the humor in those bars, telling Cole, "It's brilliant" after hearing the track.

DUPSTEP HISTORY

Dubstep  is a genre of electronic dance music that originated in South London, England. It emerged in the late 1990s as a development within a lineage of related styles such as 2-step garage, broken beat, drum and bass jungle, dub, and reggae.[1] In the UK the origins of the genre can be traced back to the growth of the Jamaican sound system party scene in the early 1980s.[1][2] The music generally features syncopated drum and percussion patterns with bass lines that contain prominent sub bass frequencies.
The earliest dubstep releases date back to 1998, and were usually featured as B-sides of 2-step garage single releases. These tracks were darker, more experimental remixes with less emphasis on vocals, and attempted to incorporate elements of breakbeat and drum and bass into 2-step. In 2001, this and other strains of dark garage music began to be showcased and promoted at London's night club Plastic People, at the "Forward" night (sometimes stylised as FWD>>), which went on to be considerably influential to the development of dubstep. The term "dubstep" in reference to a genre of music began to be used by around 2002 by labels such as Big Apple, Ammunition, and Tempa, by which time stylistic trends used in creating these remixes started to become more noticeable and distinct from 2-step and grime.[3]

A very early supporter of the sound was BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel, who started playing it from 2003 onwards. In 2004, the last year of his show, his listeners voted Distance, Digital Mystikz, and Plastician in their top 50 for the year.[4] Dubstep started to spread beyond small local scenes in late 2005 and early 2006; many websites devoted to the genre appeared on the internet and aided the growth of the scene, such as dubstepforum, the download site Barefiles and blogs such as gutterbreakz.[5] Simultaneously, the genre was receiving extensive coverage in music magazines such as The Wire and online publications such as Pitchfork Media, with a regular feature entitled The Month In: Grime/Dubstep. Kanye Celebrates His Birthday in New York City — Without Kim

It was a happy birthday indeed for Kanye West, who celebrated turning 36 with a star-studded party on Saturday night in New York City. One face that was notably absent from the festivities, however? Oh, just the mother of his unborn child.

That's right, West, who was in town in advance of his performance at the Governors Ball music festival on Sunday, left his (extremely) pregnant girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, at home — back in Los Angeles. The Kardashian press machine kicks back into high gear this coming weekend when "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" premieres its eighth season on Sunday.

In new promo shots released over the weekend, the show's 10 featured family members pose happily wearing spring colors and smiling faces. But there's one person who's prominently absent from photos: Kim Kardashian's boyfriend and father of her unborn baby, Kanye West.

So could this mean that West is not going to appear in the upcoming season? It's hard to tell, but he's clearly not going to be a main cast member. West did appear on camera during Season 7 though, which aired last fall.

Sources close to the production tell omg! that West was extremely resistant to appear on the show in any capacity last season. In fact, if he had his preference, he wouldn't appear at all … ever. But he relented under a two-front assault by Kim and Kris, agreeing to appear just a few times. The one stipulation was that E! wasn't allowed to promote him as a regular cast member.

For this upcoming season, West has been even more hesitant our sources add, since Kim's pregnancy will be one of the key plot points. As of a month ago, he wasn't slated to be on camera at all this season. It's one of the reasons he's been spending so much time in Paris.

Up until a few weeks ago, he was adamant about not having the baby appear on the series, but now that appears to be up for debate. There are reports out that he agreed to be on camera for this weekend's baby shower taping. Omg! has reached out to reps for both E! and West to ask about his participation in the show this season.

But maybe West has rubbed off on Kim in a good way?

While recently discussing her plans to leave "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" at some point in the foreseeable future, Kim told executive producer Ryan Seacrest, "Kanye has taught me a lot about privacy. I’m ready to be less open with my relationships and I realize everyone doesn’t need to know everything.”

Still, these new photos do nothing to quell the rumors that Kim and her beau are going through rocky times, as the impending birth of their first child nears.

Natural fabrics, in particular, says Boyd, respond well to hand-washing. Since so many clothes are made from fabric blends, when reading the labels, defer to the fabric that makes up the highest percentage in the blend. So if a skirt is 90 percent cashmere and 10 percent silk, wash it according to instructions for cashmere.

"It's very common to make household staff — employees, assistants, housekeepers — sign non-disclosure agreements before beginning employment," says celebrity attorney Dan Grigsby. "The logic is, 'You might see my wife and children and others coming and going, you may overhear something about a confidential film project,' so that’s not that uncommon."


Celebrities also like to impose NDAs on folks who are just blowing through their homes for a one-day job.

"A lot of my clients do that," Beverly Hills real estate agent Ben Salem says. "They do it with me, with contractors, with the guy who sells and installs the home security system."

To be fair, most celebrities do not require party guests to sign away their free speech rights the way Bieber reportedly does every time he throws a bash.

With one exception.

"Weddings," Grigsby notes. "I have used them for weddings."

Still, some stars will make you sign an NDA if you merely want to walk into their house.

Even if you’re thinking about buying said house.

"It depends on if the celebrity is living there," Salem explains. "If not, it's all good, no NDA needed. But if the celebrity is living in the house when a potential buyer wants to come through, yes, I will make that person sign an NDA.

"Also, if this celebrity is a client of mine, I'm going to interview the visitor for 20 minutes, I'm going to call their bank and make sure they really have the funds to buy — I'm going to go three deep."

All that said: Asking someone to sign an NDA is one thing. Enforcing it is another. People who sign NDAs essentially open themselves to lawsuits that could lead to either a court-mandated gag order or a monetary fine — but the latter is hard to wrangle.

After all, to win monetary damages, you have to, you know, prove you've been damaged. And merely talking about a party usually doesn't count as harm.

That's precisely what Blue Ivy Carter is doing while her mom Beyoncé travels the world on her sold out tour, The Mrs. Carter Show. The singer revealed on her Tumblr that little Blue is making good use of the custom makeup chair she commissioned for her first born.

Shot from behind, Bey's personal pic of Blue shows her daughter rocking a cute braid and a white tutu as she looks over some toys spread across what we presume is one of the many dressing rooms her mama has occupied over the past weeks.

Stitched on the back of the chair are her initials, "BIC."

While rumors of a second pregnancy linger for Mrs. Carter, the machine behind the tour isn't slowing a bit.

On Tuesday, Beyonce.com unveiled a new section dedicated to videos from the tour. Her long-awaited new single, from a still-untitled fifth solo album, "Grown Woman," also leaked but was immediately redacted from blogs over copyright infringement.

The busy singer recently found some downtime, however, to enjoy a yacht outing in the South of France with her hubby and sister Solange.

Beyonce Cancels Belgium Concert Due to Exhaustion Doctor's orders to take a break further fuels pregnancy rumors.

Beyoncé was forced to pull out of a scheduled Mrs. Carter World Tour date in Antwerp, Belgium, on doctor's orders.

According to a statement released to the Associated Press, the singer, reportedly suffering from dehydration and exhaustion, was advised by doctors to rest, and might need to hold off on Wednesday night's second show at Antwerp's Sportpaleis as well.

The statement added that the singer is, "awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision" on Wednesday's show. The tour kicked off in Serbia on April 15 and is scheduled to continue through an August 5 date at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. She has played 20 dates so far and has 11 European shows left after the Antwerp gigs before the production kicks into gear again with a June 28 date at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The show cancellation comes just one day after the latest rumors popped up that Bey, 31, might be pregnant with her second child with Jay-Z.

The New York Post's Page Six reported that the couple, parents to daughter Blue Ivy, 16 months, are keeping the pregnancy under wraps. Citing unnamed sources, the Post claimed that Beyoncé strategically wore a high, belted waist gown at last week's Met Gala to camouflage her midsection.

During an appearance on "Good Morning America" last week, Beyonce said, "I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister." She didn't, however, talk about when that might happen, saying only, "at some point, when it's supposed to happen." A spokesperson for Bey did not return request for comment on the rumors at press time.

In the meantime, another new collaboration with The-Dream, "Turnt," leaked out this week. The slow jam, headed for Dream's IV Play album, is one of several fresh tracks fans have gotten from Queen Bey recently, including a snippet of "Rise Up" from the "Epic" soundtrack, as well as "Bow Down/I Been On," "Grown Woman" and "Standing on the Sun."

BET Awards 2013 Nominations: The Complete List Drake grabs a leading 12 nods, while Chris Brown and R. Kelly are set to perform at June 30 awards show.

Drake hasn't dropped his 2013 album yet, but the Young Money hitmaker looks to reign over the rest of the calendar year. Not only is Drizzy a safe bet to earn a few platinum plaques after he drops his third LP, Nothing Was the Same, but odds are the Toronto MC will add a few statues to his collection as well now that he is nominated for a whopping 12 awards at the upcoming 2013 BET Awards.

On Tuesday (May 14), BET held a Los Angeles press conference and revealed that Drizzy is up for a dozen awards, including five separate nominations in the Video of the Year category for "Started From the Bottom," "HYFR" and his contributions to 2 Chainz's "No Lie," A$AP Rocky's "F---in' Problems" and Kendrick Lamar's "Poetic Justice."

All it took was a "yep" for Selena Gomez to confirm that she and Justin Bieber are indeed over. Since first inciting breakup rumors last November, Jelena have reconciled and split up so many times it's hard to keep count.

The "Come & Get It" singer admitted to InStyle that her relationship with Bieber had a lot of "crazy and very intense" ups and downs. And fans are starting to feel it, too.

Ever since Gomez confirmed her single status in a radio interview last week, fans have a pretty clear message for the twosome: Their relationship woes are just plain "confusing."

"I'm so confused people say that Selena and Justin are not together. Oh wtf??" @IloEl wrote. ‏@Bieberlights_xx mirrored that statement, adding, "Are Justin and Selena together or not this is definitely the most confusing relationship I've ever witnessed."

Sierra Leone's over 50 years of religious harmony is under threat thanks to the bizarre revelations of a young woman.

Sister Linda Ngaoja's ‘heavenly journey’ a few weeks ago has turned her into the equivalent of a movie star, but at the risk of destabilising a country renowned for its religious tolerance.

The 28-year-old (some say 26) college student claims to have "died" and gone to hell before being taken to heaven.

While in hell, former Libyan strongman Muammar Gaddafi told her he wanted the mosque he built in Sierra Leone destroyed and replaced with a church.

She also has a message from the late president of neighbouring Guinea, Lansana Conte, who wants all the mosques in his country brought down and replaced with churches.

Sister Linda "died" after a brief illness. She said because of her worldly crimes in her previous life, she suffered a harrowing experience in hell, where she met her parents and a host of other renowned people including a renowned Sierra Leonean lawmaker, and the late US star Whitney Houston, “who are all suffering in Hell.”

All of these people had messages for their relatives and friends who are alive.

Sister Linda said if a “rapture” had occurred at that moment only five people in Sierra Leone could have survived it (meaning going to heaven), and these included three of her pastors and two other people.

While her audio tape comes across as a rich blessing for cassette sellers, religious leaders are left with the unenviable task of cleaning the mess Linda`s revelations left in their wake.


Breeding confusion

“We take and consider this our responsibility to judge every such revelation by the standard of the written words of God,” said Bishop Archibald Cole, president of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Sierra Leone (PFSL).

He told a press conference on Tuesday that since the young girl was purportedly speaking from a Pentecostal platform, Catholics might think her revelations were the views shared by all Pentecostals “and so we consider her statements.....will create confusion and breed division among the Christian community in Sierra Leone.”

According to Linda's revelations, all Catholics and Muslims are going to hell.

She also had a message for President Ernest Bai Koroma (a Christian), to replace all mosques in Sierra Leone, which is a Muslim-dominated country, with churches.

“We consider such statements to be inflammatory among the Christian and Muslim communities,” said Bishop Cole.

“The revelation has the capacity to undermine the peace and security of this nation. We want to maintain the peace and security that God has given us, as Christ is an author of peace and not confusion.”

But already Linda's "revelations" are causing confusion as there are reports of bitter arguments over them.

Two people stabbed each other over an argument as to whether the revelations were true or not, reported the Awareness Times of Freetown, a daily.

But it is not just Muslims and Catholics who have reasons to be offended.

Linda is critical of the "born again" pastors in Sierra Leone who she said are more into money than spreading the message of God.

Her story broke on a popular religious radio called Believers Broadcasting Network (BBN), with the aid of her pastor.


Custodians of Truth

A member of the Faith Healing Bible Church, one of three churches that were endorsed in the revelations, told Africa Review that there is concern about her security because of her testimonies.

The Church has cancelled a special open prayer at the national stadium on this ground. The intention was to pray for Sierra Leone in light of the revelations.

They will be holding instead a 7-day fasting and indoor prayer session. This, according to sources, is backed by President Ernest Bai Koroma, who is said to have met with the young woman to receive his message.

A majority of pastors in the country see Linda as “of the devil” and they say she needs deliverance.

A few others express fear that her testimonies could spark forth a new sect, with reports of calls for a ban on the circulation of her tapes.

“The real reason is that Sister Linda had threatened to go over the radio and expose some of these pastors who refuse to change in line with the message she brought,” said Bernard Wilson, a member of the Faith Healing Bible Church, obviously a staunch supporter.

“It could be why the pastors are against her,” Mr Wilson said.

But others read into the whole thing infighting among Sierra Leone's small but powerful Nigerian-inspired ‘born again’ churches.

“We as Ministers of the gospel are called to be watchmen and to be custodians of truth, and to be sure that the integrity and accuracy of the gospel is maintained… we are charged to address this issue that has the potential to bring distraction and obstruct the peace of the nation,” said Apostle Akintayo Sam Jolly, Secretary of PFSL.
